"I know you didn't want to do anything wrong... maybe it's just bad influence" I said, smiling a bit weak. "I just wanted to tell you that you have to take care of what you do. I know you are good with animals, Joan, but Grey arrow doesn't like boys that much... who knows what could have happened!" I continued. "I'm not angry just disappointed. If you want to win back my trust, you'll have to do something for that."

like? and how do you mean he doesn't like boys?

Kay couldn't help it and smiled a bit stupid.

I don't know yet but you'll see when the time is there. And he doesn't like boys because he's a dominant male and he can see other boys as a rival. especially when they are with you. I don't know what it is but Grey arrow has never liked a human being so much. I just... I can't explain it myself so I would just be careful, alright? now off you go and if you are planning on going anywhere just let anyone know. doesn't matter who. It's just not safe at the moment.

Kay smiled 'Yes we understand, professor. we are sorry for our... little adventure but we needed a nice quiet place, you know. the common room is always so crowded."

"I know. I don't think the lake is a really dangerous place but I can't do anything about it. I do have my duty's as a teacher and I don't want anything to happen to any of the students. also because I'm the one who introduced you and grey arrow, Joan. If anything would happen it 'd be my fault. But it's already late now. Just go to sleep, it'll do you good" I said smiling and let them out.

I was packing my things while I was expecting joan to come. I sure hoped she'd come

I knocked on the door, hoping for prof. Meus to be there. It was a long time a go but I needed to talk to her.

I looked who was there and saw Kay. I smiled and let him in. It was kind of an akward feeling, now he and Joan where almost not like students anymore. "What can I do for you?" I asked as friendly as I could.

It was kind of strange to talk to her in her office, because the last time he felt like a child who was caught on stealing candy. He had to think about Joan but banned her out. no time for that now... I had to make things right.

"I have to talk to you about what happened a few weeks ago, professor." I started, not knowing what I was going to say. I waited a bit and saw her knodding so I continued. "You know whit grey arrow... and things like that... I mean..."

I know what you mean, Kay. Glad you came. It's almost time to say goodbye to the school here.

"To... what? Already?" I asked astonished. I totaly fergot she had to leave hogwarts to go as a headmaster to Sint-Parker. I still would see her but Joan... she had to come.

toughts where trying to take over my brain but again I banned them out. "I wanted to talk to you about that evening. I don't want you to be angry with Joan anymore. It was my fault, I asked her to go outside."

I smiled uncontrolled and told him to sit down. I waited untill he sat down and I saw him looking confident. I liked persons like that... always themselve and ready to even take the debt himself for he's best friend. I always knew there was something more going on between him and Joan but it wasn't the time to talk about that.

"I'm not angry with her, Kay. She knows that too, I told her." I said thinking.
"I was very dissapointed, and not because you guys where outside but because Joan used her gift without anyone being around. It could've gone totaly wrong. But I also know it was my fault too, I should've known she was going to try it herself. I was sure about that but I didn't do anything to talk it out of her head. Now that I'll be leaving, I am afraid she'll loose her gift because nobody will be able to help her when I'm gone. They'ill do everything wrong and Joan can't handle it by herself. It wil grow to powerfull." I said

I couldn't say anything. I knew that she was right and it scared me a lot. Who knows what would happen if...

"I already told her she had to come to you. But before that I wanted to tell you that she is feeling terrible and she doesn't know what to do."

"Joan is lucky with a friend like you." I smiled.

I smiled unconfortable. "So... what will we do now? I mean... I don't want Joan to... I can't think of..."

maybe strange but I know what you mean. I'll do everything I can to help her, but I don't know how yet. I do have to talk to her before I go.

I know... I'll go and talk to her.

that would be great. thanks, you can go now if you want to, unless there is something else you wanted to tell me?

No I don't think so... will you come to the school ball? I mean, will you still be here when it starts?

sure... I think so. You'll see me around. O, and Kay, before I forget... if you are ever planning on telling her, you should do it quickly because she's not going to wait for ever.

I grinned a bit silly but nodded.

I tought so. Do it at the school ball. Just go to a special place when the time is right and I'll cover you It's my last week anyway.
